Casserole from Golf Widow

I have finally figured out how to turn off the screening of comments, so Golf Widow, you can knock on my door any time with a casserole.

Knock, knock.

This is my easiest one and I've yet to find someone who doesn't like it.

1. Brown a pound of ground beef (I guess you could use ground turkey or pork, I never have though)
2. Stir in a small chopped onion and about half a cup of ketchup to moisten. You can use more ketchup if you want. I throw in some good mustard at this point too.
3. Dump it into an buttered oven-safe casserole dish.
4. Top with grated cheddar or American cheese.
5. Put a single layer of Tater Tots over the entire top.
6. Bake at 375 for about 35 to 45 minutes or until Tots are crisp.
7. Salt and pepper to taste; let stand about five minutes before serving.

Welcome to the neighborhood.

I would love to make your casserole. That is, as soon as I get the results from tests for gall bladder problems. I was radioactive for 48 hours starting Friday! I am not allowed to eat hamburger, anything fried, or even tater tots. Good way to lose weight--I have lost 20 lbs. just by not eating much at all. My skin hangs on my bones like an oversized piece of clothing. Maybe (if it's surgery) I'll be able to start eating real food again

Yeah, firey hoops are a good way to discourage readership and participation. People generally didn't comment on my own site for a while because I had set it to only allow registered Blogger.com users to do so.

Worse, a friend of mine has hers set to only allow a very limited subset of people to view it (members of MySpace and on her friends list), so it requires multiple jumps to read it.

Hi, Spook. As I said in my introduction, everybody is entitled to my opinion, and I welcome disagreement. If anybody doesn't like what I say, they really don't have to come to my blog--their problem, not mine! Hope to see ya here more often.
